Extruder: 215- 225°C (Desktop printers). MetalX is a PLA-based product and has a lower melt viscosity than traditional PLA. Therefore; it is necessary to print at lower temperatures to allow the resin to flow properly. This product does not require a heated build plate

Our MetalX 3D printer filament is sold in grams and is a dense material compared to traditional PLA. As a result, a 500 g spool of Stainless Steel PLA contains about 90 meters of filament over the traditional 200 meters with PLA.
